I wish the night could last forever....

November 23, 1999...Scott asked me to come over for dinner after I finished my Creative Memories Class, he told he was making soup since it was a rainy day. When I got there he had made a fire in the fire place, he had soup boiling on the stove, it smelled great! We had a wonderful dinner together next to the fire, we sat talking for awhile about how it had been almost a year since we started dating, and then he said "I want you to go in the other room for a minute and don't come out until I say!" He is a pretty romantic guy, and full of surprises so I wasn't sure what was going on. He finally told me to come out after what seemed like an eternity, and what I saw I will never forget. He had placed Red roses on the coffee table, next to a bottle of champagne with two glasses, he had Alan Jackson's "Right on the Money" playing on the radio (he dedicated that song to me the first time he heard it) and when I turned to see him, He was on one knee with my ring in his hand! The tears started flowing uncontrollably, he said "Would you do me the honor of becoming my wife and spending the rest of your life with me?" I just kept crying and saying Yes, Yes, Yes! Then we danced together for a while and just enjoyed the moment.
